1st Step Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established Building Services provider, for a Small Works Project Manager (Electrical Bias) delivering projects across the UK.

Location: Hybrid / Remote (occasional travel to Shrewsbury)

Salary: Circa £45k to £52k package

This role is ideal for an electrically qualified professional looking to step further into project management while remaining hands-on with delivery.

The Role

  • Manage electrical small works projects (£5k-£30k) from quotation through to completion
  • Deliver installations, upgrades, compliance works and rollout programmes
  • Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely on time and within budget
  • Maintain strong client relationships and identify further works opportunities

Requirements

  • Electrical background within Building Services or Facilities Management
  • Experience delivering small works / minor projects
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation
  • Strong organisation, communication, and commercial awareness
  • Competence using CAFM systems, project management platforms, or similar tools
  • Experience producing, reviewing, and working to RAMS and method statements
