1st Step Solutions Ltd (M&E Recruitment Specialists)\\n\\nWe are currently working with a local M&E/Building Services Contractor on the following role\\n\\nRequired: Mechanical Project Engineer, Project Manager or Contracts Manager\\n\\nLocation: Gloucestershire\\n\\nEmployment: Permanent\\n\\nSalary: up to £70k (+ car/allowance)\\n\\nHolidays: 25 days (+ Bank Hols)\\n\\nIndustry: Building Services (Construction)\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\n* Manage mechanical aspects of multiple projects (typically £1-5m value) from planning through to handover, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.\\n * Lead project teams, including engineers, site supervisors, and subcontractors.\\n * Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.\\n * Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.\\n * Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships.\\n * Oversee procurement and management of materials and project resources.\\n * Conduct regular site visits, progress meetings, and inspections to ensure project quality.\\n * Prepare and present project reports to senior management and stakeholders.\\n \\n Requirements:\\n\\n* Experience as a Mechanical Project Engineer, Manager or Contracts Manager, within the building services industry sectors.\\n * Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC, and plumbing installations.\\n * Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.\\n * As a Project Manager or Contracts Manager you'll have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.\\n * Proficient in project management tools and software.\\n * Full UK driving license.\\n\\nThe Employer:\\n\\nA national M&E Building Services Contractor, established for over 75years with a growing business portfolio, currently turning over in excess of £30m a year.
