Are you a mechanical engineer looking for a technically challenging role working on highly specialised, pioneering technology? The company is a growing special purpose machinery organisation designing and delivering cutting-edge automated solutions across a range of industries. Due to continued success, we are looking for a Mechanical Build Engineer to join the build and commissioning team.

You will be working on technically challenging, bespoke machinery projects from concept through to final handover. You will assemble machinery in accordance with drawings, specifications and build procedure as well as help to refine and improve product and processes. Furthermore, you will play a pivotal role in identifying faults and rectifications in conjunction with the design team to facilitate individual requirements.

The Role
  • Assembly of special purpose machinery from engineering drawings
  • Identification and rectifying faults alongside design and commissioning team
  • Raise ECR's to refine and help improve product and processes
  • Progression into design engineer or commissioning engineer
  • 37.5 hours Monday to Friday
  • Company bonus and overtime availability
The Person
  • Proven track record in mechanical fitting and engineering assembly
  • Able to work to drawings, specifications and build procedures
  • If junior, time served apprentice in mechanical or related field
  • Living commutable to Leicester
