1st Step Solutions are supporting a successful multi-disciplinary building and MEP services consultancy business who are looking to expand their team with a Graduate MEP Surveyor / Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Surveys for PMP and Capex planning
- Surveys for asset I.D and PPM programme production
- Strategy advice on retrofit feasibility (Carbon Zero Initiative)
- Consulting advice on PPM contractor appointment
- HVAC systems design
- Gas Safe heating advice and compliance consultancy
- HIU and Heat pump retrofit feasibility
- EPC improvement advice and recommendation
- HV/LV upgrade advice and planning (with UKPN)
- RIBA stage 4 on all MEP design for installation, upgrade & redevelopment
- RIBA stage 5&6 on all MEP quality monitoring of installations
- HVAC commissioning management
- CCTV drainage inspections
- Consulting on vertical transportation systems
- BMS and controls upgrade specifications
- MEP Life safety systems advice and consultancy (BSC linked)
- Security (CCTV) and access control system re-design
- Fire alarm and AOV system design and PM
- LED lighting design and PM
- MEP TDD on pre-purchase and pre-leasing opportunities in commercial and private residential sectors
- Swimming pool and Spa facilities consultation
- Legionella prevention advice and water treatment consultation
Qualifications/Skills:
- Engineering degree preferred
- Experience of working on commercial offices and block residential desirable
- Capability to accept responsibilities and accomplish project objectives in a timely manner
- Good computer skills especially with Microsoft Office
- To actively contribute to the team (internal and client team)
