1st Step Solutions are currently looking for an Electrical Mate for a National role.

We are looking for an Electrical Mate to work across multiple projects Nationally. This is a 9 month position. The head stores is based out of Aldridge, WS9, where you will be picked up and job locations include Manchester, Birmingham, and London. If staying away for a day or so, digs is paid, and also given £25 meal allowance per day.

Work will include the installation of site temporaries (lighting etc.).

Previous experience and requirements for the role include:
– ECS Card
– Level 2 or 3 in Electrical Installations desirable
– Due to site safety regulations, you must hold Site Safety Plus or equivalent (CCNSG, SSSTS, SMSTS). If you do not hold it, you must be willing to sit the course prior to attending site (cost to be reimbursed after commencing)
– References confirming similar duties
– Experience working on construction sites
– UK Driving License (may be required to drive work van)

Start Date | ASAP
Duration | 9 months
Hours | 43 – 50 hours per week
Umbrella Rate | £23 per hour
PAYE Direct Rate | £15.09 – £17.86 per hour +OT rates (Dependent on experience)
