Role Overview

Our client is seeking a Quantity Surveyor. This role involves managing the financial and contractual aspects of projects, supporting cost management, risk mitigation, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and forecasts.
  • Monitor project costs and provide timely financial reporting to management.
  • Manage tender processes, including documentation, analysis, and contractor selection.
  • Prepare valuations, variation orders, and contract claims.
  • Conduct risk assessments and value engineering exercises to optimise costs.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, health & safety, and sustainability considerations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in M&E industry.
  • Strong knowledge of contracts, procurement, and cost management procedures.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and construction-related software (e.g., CostX, BuildSoft).
