Building Services Design Manager Newmarket Contract
1st Step Solutions are working on behalf of a Leading Contractor that are looking to appoint a Building Services Design Manager to work within their project team in Newmarket.
The MEPBuilding services design manager to administer completion of project design by external consultants.
Responsibilities
- Focus on the technical, cost, program, delivery and resilience aspect .
- Leading design team internally and externally and owner of the Design Tracker and Task Information Delivery Plan (TIDP).
- Work with colleagues globally to ensure design delivery and methodologies is consistent across projects globally.
- Chairing meetings colleagues to discuss innovations, new design methodology/technology and Standards for all project regions.
- Liaising with utilities consultants for site utility availability, planning, application, quote, and phasing for projects.
- Carrying out due diligence exercise for real estate Clients prior to site acquisition for data centre master planning and built.
- Engaging with locally appointed Consultants to review design for local compliance prior to Local Authorities submission.
- Instrumental in defining construction phasing strategy and master planning in line with availability of utilities on site
