If you are a passionate, patient and creative Teacher, Tutor or TA with experience in adapting and supporting learners to overcome barriers, we want to hear from you! 1st Staff Limited are one of the leading alternative providers working nationwide with specialist staff helping students from 4-25 years of age with both education and therapeutic needs. The Role As a tutor you will be required to deliver tuition sessions to help these students gain the confidence and level required to attain the qualifications needed and potentially return to further education. Unlike other agencies, 1st Staff also provide a support network for all of our tutors such as a lead tutor for your specific area, designated safeguarding leads, curriculum leads for Maths and English, Behavioural specialist and a Head of education . Position Details * Location – Can be in either School, Local community or in Students homes * Hours – 10-15 hours per week (sessions will be split 2-3 hours per day 5 days a week) more hours available if working with multiple students. * Start date – ASAP Skills & Experience Required: * Confidence working with a range of SEN/SEMH and challenging behaviour * Being able to cater lesson plans to the child's individual's needs * Demonstrating a nurturing and supportive nature with good behaviour management skills. * Rapport building with the child * Good communication skills * Being able to identify existing and potential barriers to students’ learnin…
