We are seeking exceptional Early Years Practitioners to join our dedicated team in delivering outstanding early years provision, as defined by the Ofsted inspection framework. The successful candidate will demonstrate a thorough understanding of the EYFS framework and contribute to maintaining our high-quality provision across all areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality of Education (Intent, Implementation, Impact)
    • Design and implement ambitious learning experiences aligned with the EYFS seven areas of learning
    • Deliver the curriculum in a sequenced way that builds on children's prior knowledge
    • Support children to develop their cultural capital through rich and varied experiences
    • Maintain detailed observations and assessments using Birth to 5 Matters guidance
    • Identify and support children with additional needs, working with the SENCO as required
  • Behaviour and Attitudes
    • Foster positive learning behaviours and self-regulation skills
    • Support children to become resilient, confident, and independent learners
    • Implement consistent behaviour management strategies aligned with the settings policies
    • Promote British Values through everyday practice

    • Support children's physical and emotional well-being
    • Promote healthy eating and physical activity
    • Help children understand how to keep themselves safe and healthy

  • Leadership and Management

  • Essential Qualifications and Knowledge
    • Level 2/3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
    • Thorough understanding of:
    • EYFS statutory framework
    • Birth to 5 Matters guidance
    • Ofsted Education Inspection Framework
    • Safeguarding and Welfare Requirements
  • Current DBS check (ideally)
  • Paediatric First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate (or willingness to obtain)
