Are you an experienced Stock Condition Manager or Senior Surveyor looking for your next role? We are currently working with a growing property and housing consultancy delivering Stock Condition Surveys, EPCs, and wider housing compliance services for housing associations and local authorities. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Survey Manager to oversee survey teams, manage field delivery, and ensure the quality and accuracy of data captured on site. This role is central to the successful delivery of multiple housing consultancy projects and would suit someone with a strong background in stock condition surveying, validation, and team leadership.
The role will involve:
- Managing and coordinating surveyors carrying out fieldwork
- Briefing survey teams and overseeing day-to-day site activity
- Running pilot surveys ahead of full project rollout
- Providing technical guidance and ongoing support to surveyors
- Carrying out re-inspections, accompanied visits, and on-site QA checks
- Supporting the setup and testing of handheld devices and survey systems
- Working closely with data analysts to ensure accurate reporting and outputs
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients and survey teams
- Attending meetings and handling delivery or quality issues professionally
- Undertaking stock condition surveys and energy assessments where required
Key requirements:
- Strong experience delivering Stock Condition Surveys
- Good working knowledge of HHSRS (all 29 hazards)
- Understanding of Awaab’s Law and damp and mould compliance
- Proven experience managing surveyors or field teams
- Confident using handheld / mobile data capture systems and Excel
- High attention to detail with strong communication skills
Desirable (but not essential):
- DEA qualification
