We are seeking an experienced Electrical Auditor to provide ad-hoc support for our internal compliance team across social housing properties within the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham and surrounding areas. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced electrical auditor or inspection and testing professional looking to undertake flexible contract work as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out quality assurance audits on completed EICRs, electrical inspections and remedial works
- Undertake technical inspections within occupied and void social housing properties
- Assess compliance with current BS 7671 Wiring Regulations and client specifications
- Review contractor performance and workmanship standards
- Produce clear audit reports and technical recommendations
- Support the internal auditor during periods of annual leave, sickness absence and increased workload
Requirements:
- Relevant electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent preferred)
- Previous experience undertaking electrical audits, technical inspections or quality assurance activities
- Experience within the social housing sector desirable
- Full UK driving licence
