We are looking for an experienced Fire Door Joiner to join our team, carrying out the installation, maintenance, inspection and remedial works associated with fire doors across commercial and residential properties nationwide.
The successful candidate will be BM TRADA Q-Mark qualified and have strong practical experience working to current fire-door standards and manufacturer requirements.
Key Responsibilities The role involves installing, repairing, adjusting and maintaining fire doors and associated ironmongery.
You will be responsible for carrying out fire-door remedial works to a high standard and ensuring all doors are fitted and maintained in accordance with relevant standards, regulations and manufacturer specifications.
You will be expected to identify defects and report any issues requiring further remedial action, while completing job sheets, photographs and relevant site documentation accurately.
The successful candidate will work safely and maintain high standards of workmanship on every site.
You will also liaise professionally with clients, site managers and other contractors and travel nationwide to complete scheduled projects.
You will be responsible for maintaining tools, equipment and company vehicles in good working order and ensuring all works are completed within agreed timescales.
