1st Select are working in partnership with a national multi-disciplinary consultancy based in the Midlands. We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor on an ongoing contract to service a high-volume contract in the retail sector. The main role of the Quantity Surveyor will be to provide support and guidance to clients on all aspects in relation to costs on quoted maintenance works. Reviewing quotations to ensure value for money and qualitative solutions. Prepare reports to demonstrate savings, efficiencies, quality of workmanship, adherence to specifications and value for money.
Requirements
- Quantity Surveying qualification or equivalent
- IT literate, intermediate level in use of Excel, to include pivot tables and data manipulation
Experience
- Quantity Surveying
- Commercial Contract awareness
- Basic technical knowledge
- Data management and analysis
- Working in Facilities Management or retail
- Working with the Supply Chain
- Volume based processing and analysis
This role is an ongoing one and could become permanent for the right candidate. There is an option for hybrid working but you will need to be in the Leicester office twice a week.
