An exciting opportunity has become available to join our professional and fast-paced Control Room team based in Kettering.
- As a
- Control Room Operator
, you will play a vital role in supporting our security operations across the UK.
You’ll be responsible for monitoring CCTV systems, handling emergency calls, coordinating Alarm Response Officers, and ensuring our lone worker safety systems operate effectively.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same, requiring excellent communication, sound judgement, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Shift Pattern
Day Shifts
1 permanent vacancy available
Flexibility is essential.
You will be required to work occasional night shifts to provide cover for holidays, sickness and operational requirements.
Initial training will also be completed on nights.

Key Responsibilities
- Handling incoming calls from clients, staff and alarm receiving centres.
- Monitoring CCTV systems and responding to incidents.
- Dispatching and supporting Alarm Response Officers.
- Managing our Lone Worker Check Call system.
- Recording incidents accurately and maintaining detailed operational logs.
- Supporting operational planning and incident management.
- Providing operational cover on-site during periods of sickness and annual leave where required.
- Valid
- Front-Line SIA Licence
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points (automatic licence accepted).
- Willingness to complete mobile response training and undertake operational deployments when required.
- Confident using IT systems and able to learn new software quickly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Reliable, professional and flexible approach to work.
