About our School

We are seeking an inspiring, talented Music and Drama Performing Arts Teacher to join a fantastic Independent school and help students grow as confident performers and creative thinkers. You will join our highly committed and professional team for the Junior and Senior School. Primarily teaching KS1, KS2 and KS3, with the capacity to cover KS4 and KS5 if needed for cover. Ideally starting in the autumn term; however, for the right candidate, January 2027 would be acceptable. The post would suit a flexible practitioner committed to raising standards at all levels, delivering excellent lessons and enthusing pupils through their passion for teaching Music and Drama.

The Successful Candidate will have:

  • QTS with relevant qualification
  • Experience at teaching Music and Drama at KS1, KS2 and KS3
  • Commitment to effective communication and professional collaboration
  • High expectations that inspire and motivate students
  • Able to develop vocal and instrumental ensembles across the school
  • Support students in preparing for concerts, recitals, productions, examinations, and other performance opportunities
  • Ideally able to cover GCSE Music and Drama
  • Support Music Technology at A-level
