Are you a caring, motivated individual looking for a role where no two days are the same—and where you can genuinely make a difference every day? We’re looking for a Forensic Support Worker to join our Leeds Outreach team, supporting individuals with a wide range of needs in the community and their own homes.

About the Role

You’ll be supporting individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs—including forensic backgrounds and behaviours of concern. This is a hands‑on, person‑centred role where you’ll help people live as independently as possible while ensuring their safety and wellbeing.

Support may include:

  • Daily living support and personal care
  • Managing finances, budgeting, and shopping
  • Meal preparation
  • Risk assessing situations and following tailored support plans
  • Supporting individuals to stay active and social

The people we support love getting out and about—this could include:

  • Swimming
  • Gym sessions
  • Rugby games
  • Concerts and evenings out

So you’ll need to be energetic and happy to get involved. The role will involve working in multiple locations so drivers would be preferred.

What We’re Looking For

Essential experience in:

  • Forensic or criminal backgrounds
  • Grooming behaviours
  • Mental health and personality disorders
  • Managing challenging behaviour

Desirable (but not essential):

  • MAPPA Training
  • Anthony Bainbridge Training

You’ll also need to be confident:

  • Following detailed support plans
  • Working independently in the community
  • Adapting your approach for each individual

Hours & Flexibility

Shifts include:

  • 9am - 4pm
  • 9am - 5pm

Includes weekends on a rota basis so full availability is required. Hours may vary dependant on certain activities. An enhanced adult DBS is required.

What You’ll Get

  • 28 days annual leave (pro rata, including bank holidays)
  • Ongoing accredited training
  • Employer pension scheme

Plus, access to:

  • Health Cash Plan
  • £10,000 life cover
  • Free Employee Assistance Programme (counselling, legal & financial advice)
  • Discounts & rewards platform
  • Cycle to Work scheme
  • Financial wellbeing support
  • Refer-a-Friend bonus
