Job Overview
As National Head of Finance, you’ll play a key leadership role in financial management, reporting and strategic decision‑making, supporting the Group Chief Executive Officer and advising senior management to drive financial sustainability across the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Provide sound financial advice to the Group CEO, senior management and members.
- Oversee financial governance, ensuring compliance with company law and regulatory reporting to Companies House and HMRC.
- Lead and manage a talented Finance Team across England and Scotland, supported by the Deputy Head of Finance.
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts and financial plans to support organisational strategy.
- Drive strategic financial decision‑making as part of the Senior Leadership Team.
Qualifications
- Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with demonstrable senior leadership experience in a large national organisation.
- Relevant experience in a senior finance role within the health, social care or not‑for‑profit sector.
- Strong knowledge of financial governance and regulatory compliance.
