Join the 1st Franklin Financial team as an Assistant Branch Manager. This position leverages interpersonal skills and business knowledge to meet the needs of our customers. Working closely with the Branch Manager and staff, the Assistant Branch Manager builds relationships and identifies customer needs, ensuring an exceptional customer experience. The ABM interviews customers with professionalism, patience, curiosity, and a results‑oriented manner.
Principal Accountabilities and Key Activities
- Develops and assures that Branch growth, profitability goals and objectives are met.
- Manages all loans, including approval of customer loans and sales finance contracts within delegated authority for lending limits.
- Maintains Branch delinquency control and personally engages with delinquencies as appropriate.
- Delegates the daily assignments of solicitation to new and existing customers.
- Oversees personnel management including hiring, termination, disciplinary actions, and salary administration.
- Exemplifies and expects that impeccable customer service is always maintained.
- Ensures that communication is disseminated in a timely and efficient manner to all Branch employees.
- Follows up on all audit results and recommendations.
Education, Qualifications and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Essential function: working onsite at the branch office (working from home not permitted).
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in financial services dealing with customers and managing staff personnel.
- Ability to meet current licensing requirements of various States and Federal regulators.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze relevant information and apply individual judgment.
- Advanced interpersonal relationship skills at a variety of levels and greatly differing social and business settings.
- Ability to maintain confidential business and personal information.
- Action and result focused.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite products.
Desirable
- Must possess a valid driver's license and the ability to operate an automobile (unless the Branch Manager can perform this function, then it is an essential job function).
