Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager who has a minimum of 4‑6 years post‑qualification experience in a small to medium‑size accountancy practice.
What You’ll Own & Lead
- Resolving and completing difficult account production work
- Maintain effective working relationships with outsourcing partners
- Perform quality control reviews of work produced by outsourcing partners, ensuring accuracy and compliance with firm standards
- Handling complicated client queries
- Provide technical tax and accounting advice to SME clients
- Develop and maintain a knowledge bank of frequently asked client queries with standardised answers to support team efficiency and consistency
- Helping in training and mentoring junior team members
- Ongoing monitoring of regulatory changes and align business practices with new requirements
What You Bring To The Table
- 4‑6 years post‑qualification experience in an accountancy practice (ACCA or equivalent)
- Excellent technical knowledge of personal tax, IFRS 102 & 105 accounting standards and VAT
- Strong IT skills – good working knowledge of TaxCalc, QuickBooks and additional bookkeeping tools
- Worked with a diverse portfolio of SME clients
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective client engagement
- Proven track record in building and maintaining long‑term client relationships
- Strong proactive and problem‑solving capabilities
