Role: Senior IT Procurement Manager
Salary: Up to £80K + Excellent Benefits
Location: Basingstoke (2/3 days p/w on site)
Are you an IT Procurement Manager – with experience of delivering complex IT sourcing projects across Digital, Data, Cloud and Software? This is an exciting opportunity with a PE backed client who are investing extensively in Technology solutions to drive customer experience and future revenue generation opportunities.
Role:
Key to your success in this role will be the ability to develop key stakeholder relationships with the IT leadership community, including the CIO and CDO, positioning Procurement as a \”value-add\” business partner. Ultimately, you will be tasked with driving commercial value across a broad range of business critical IT & Technology Procurement projects – supporting the organisation\’s digital investment journey, with lots of exciting new product development and proof of concept projects, which embrace AI.
You will need to:
- Be commercially astute, financially literate and legally competent to negotiate contracts across the breadth of the IT Procurement portfolio
- Have strong influencing skills and leadership, with the gravitas to negotiate credibly with suppliers and engage with the CIO, CDO and the executive management team
- Be results driven with a track record of achievement while adaptable in the face of adversity
Experience:
- IT Procurement & Category Management experience – ideally bring examples of supporting new product development initiatives
- Solid understanding of procurement processes and principles, commercial and legal constructs, and financial models.
- Skills to influence and drive effective change in an agile environment
- Self-motivation, tenacity, and a focus on delivery
- Gravitas, the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Ideally Degree and MCIPS qualified.
