I am currently recruiting a Senior Category Buyer for a well-known fast paced UK retailer.

Responsibilities

  • Full P&L accountability for the category, driving sales, margin and cash performance.
  • Develop and execute a clear, data-led category strategy aligned to commercial goals.
  • Optimise range, pricing and promotions using trading insight and customer data.
  • Manage the full product lifecycle in a promotional retail environment.
  • Source and negotiate with suppliers to improve margin, terms and exclusive opportunities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandising, Commercial, Retail and Marketing to maximise execution and growth.

  • Having experience as Senior Buyer in branded buying.
  • Background across branded, non-fashion categories.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
