Salary: £75,000 plus benefits (Including Bonus up to 25%, attractive pension, Life Assurance, Medical, Shares, Travel Allowance, etc.)

Client: Major airport

Location: Hybrid working from home and 3 days per week in Staines.

This organisation boasts a procurement function that has been nominated for the Sustainability Procurement Project of the Year by CIPS, and is business with sustainability at the heart of their ethos.

You will be a crucial part of the Infrastructure Procurement Team, who are responsible for £1bn of Capital Expenditure, with the opportunity to support various workstreams, including Long Term Growth, Asset Management, Revenue Generation, and Carbon and Sustainability.

You will work closely with the Head of Infrastructure to manage the end-to-end Procurement and delivery of Capital Works, Infrastructure, and Services. You will focus on strategically developing long-term assets (rather than one-off purchases), that support their multi-million passenger capacity and growth, decarbonisation goals, and opportunities for improvement and monetisation.

Key to the role will be fostering and maintaining robust relationships with the organisation's diverse, top-tier, supplier base.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience and ability to see Procurement Projects across their full lifecycle.
  • End-to-end Procurement, including Pre-Contract and Post-Contract Management.
  • An interest in long-term, construction asset development, including the associated works and services.
  • Supplier Relationship Management ability.
