An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Procurement & Contracts Manager to join a leading public sector organisaton, playing a pivotal role in delivering compliant, strategic procurement across multiple academies.
You'll lead end-to-end procurement projects, including FTS tenders, framework agreements and strategic sourcing activities, while managing the procurement pipeline and ensuring full compliance with the Procurement Act 2023 and Trust governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead regulated procurement exercises from strategy through to contract award.
- Develop and manage the procurement pipeline.
- Advise academies on compliant procurement routes, frameworks and tendering options.
- Drive value for money through strategic sourcing and cost‑saving initiatives.
- Produce procurement documentation, evaluation reports and governance papers.
- Maintain procurement policies, provide training and promote procurement best practice.
- Support contract mobilisation and oversee assigned procurement categories.
About You
- Proven procurement experience
- Strong knowledge of the Procurement Act 2023, FTS tenders and framework agreements.
- Excellent stakeholder management, commercial and project management skills.
- CIPS qualification (or working towards) is advantageous.
