Excellent opportunity to join a leading organisation as a Procurement Consultant to support a wide range of major programmes across infrastructure, defence, central government, energy and the wider built environment. This is an ideal role for individuals looking to accelerate their development within a fast-paced consultancy, gaining hands-on experience across large-scale projects and working alongside senior specialists in procurement, commercial strategy and supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Support end-to-end procurement processes including research, tender preparation, evaluation and award.
- Assist in developing procurement documentation, market engagement materials and commercial analyses.
- Work with team members to deliver procurement and contract advisory services to major clients.
- Contribute to project reporting, stakeholder communication and data analysis.
- Support the development of category approaches and supplier intelligence.
- Engage professionally with client and supplier stakeholders as part of the delivery team.
- Contribute to team objectives, continuous improvement and service development activities.
Required Competencies:
- Experience supporting procurement activity in infrastructure, defence, energy or other relevant environments.
- NEC, JCT or public sector experience in high demand.
- Understanding of procurement principles, commercial basics and supplier markets.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and confidence engaging with stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and manage multiple tasks.
- Proactive, adaptable and eager to learn within a consultancy setting.
- Interest in pursuing procurement qualifications and developing professional capability.
- Security Clearance (SC) is advantageous, though not required.
