Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Extract, clean, and integrate data from a variety of systems (AWS, procurement systems, etc., Hardware Asset and Software Asset Management) to create accurate and insightful reports.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and visualisations in Tableau for use by the procurement category manager, stakeholders and the executive team.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across all reports and analyses.
AWS Reporting Integration:
- Utilise AWS reporting tools (such as Athena and Cost Explorer) to extract and manipulate data.
- Combine AWS data with other financial and procurement datasets to create holistic insights across the organisation.
- Automate data pipelines where possible to improve efficiency and reliability and reduce human errors.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with procurement colleagues, finance, and IT teams to understand reporting requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Present findings and insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring actionable recommendations are highlighted.
Process Optimization:
- Review utilisation of supplier commitments and provide advanced analytics, highlighting usage risks.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements within the reporting and analytics workflows.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into the team's data analysis strategies.
Your present skillset:
- Degree in Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred.
- 8+ years proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in procurement or financial functions.
- Strong understanding of AWS reporting, including the ability to consume and integrate data from AWS.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with SQL or other database query languages.
- Experience with Python or other programming languages for data manipulation and automation.
- Proficiency in Tableau or similar reporting/visualisation tools.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and provide clear, actionable insights.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience presenting to executive audiences.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
