I am currently recruiting a Senior Category Buyer for a well-known fast paced UK retailer.
Responsibilities
- Full P&L accountability for the category, driving sales, margin and cash performance.
- Develop and execute a clear, data-led category strategy aligned to commercial goals.
- Optimise range, pricing and promotions using trading insight and customer data.
- Manage the full product lifecycle in a promotional retail environment.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to improve margin, terms and exclusive opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandising, Commercial, Retail and Marketing to maximise execution and growth.
