Role: Procurement Lead - Capital Projects and Professional Services
Rate: £600 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Client: Pharmaceuticals leader
Location: Hybrid - North-Eastern Scotland, or West Coast of Scotland
Duration: 12 months
A Procurement Leader to shape and drive the delivery of complex Capital Projects Procurement Strategies, with a world-leader in Pharmaceuticals.
As Project Procurement Partner for site Capital Projects, this role will collaborate with senior stakeholders up to Executive level, ensuring buy-in and Procurement involvement at early stages, owning procurement and contracts performance, and leading regular business reviews to ensure main contractors are meeting requirements.
The role also leads sourcing, implementation and Supplier Relationship Management in Capital Construction and Engineering Services (CCES) categories. These will include Professional Services (Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Project Management) and Trades (Civil, Structural, Architectural Electrical, C&I).
Requirements:
- 6+ years' experience in Capital Construction Engineering.
- 6+ years' experience Professional Services and Trade Packages Procurement.
- Experience within a complex, multi-stage project environment.
- Experience with NEC, FIDIC, or IChemE contract agreements.
- Full-lifecycle process experience, including Category Strategy creation and Supplier Relationship Management.
- Strong communicator across disciplines, functions, and geographies.
