Our client is seeking an experienced Interim Procurement Category Manager to take ownership of key spend areas across Facilities Management, Property, Maintenance and Repairs. This is a business-critical role requiring someone who can step in immediately and deliver value at pace. You will lead category strategy, manage complex procurement exercises, and ensure compliance within a public sector environment, leveraging established frameworks and best practice procurement methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end procurement activity across FM, property, maintenance & repairs
  • Develop and implement category strategies delivering value and risk mitigation
  • Run compliant tenders under Public Sector regulations
  • Utilise and manage relevant procurement frameworks
  • Stakeholder engagement across estates, finance and operational teams
  • Supplier performance and contract management
  • Deliver cost savings and service improvements

Essential Experience

  • Proven track record as a Procurement Category Manager
  • Strong expertise in Facilities Management, Property, Maintenance & Repairs
  • In-depth knowledge of Public Sector procurement regulations and governance

  • Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced interim environment
