Role: Construction Project Lead
Rate: £750 - £900 per day DoE (OUTSIDE IR35)
Location: Hybrid working and UK-wide sites
Contract: Deliverable, Milestone, and outcome-based model
A Senior Project Lead to take ownership of a portfolio of high-profile projects for a major Central Government organisation, who are delivering complex change. This role will be critical to their £multi-million construction programme, due to be mobilised January 2026. The role will lead and shape project delivery and business change, focused on Property Construction and operationalisation of newly constructed and refurbished buildings.
You will mentor and coach delivery teams, supporting continuous improvement. You will collaborate closely with the Change Office to drive alignment, define roles and expectations, identify themes, trends and blockers across functions, and provide insight and recommendations to senior leadership. You will expertly define project components, based on scope, deliverables, resource, budget, and risk.
Requirements:
- Strong track record leading the delivery of complex change programmes in large, regulated organisations
- Expertise within Property Construction environments
- Experience in business change activities associated with the commission of new properties
- Demonstrable delivery of Change Projects, and strong commercial acumen
- Project and Programme Management Certification
- Excellent senior stakeholder management, governance and decision-making facilitation
- Confident leading multi-disciplinary teams and influencing
Security & Compliance: You must hold or be eligible for UK Government Security Vetting, and able to work with sensitive delivery information.
