A major public sector organisation is seeking a Continuous Improvement Lead to drive Commercial Policy development, stakeholder collaboration and operational improvement across complex commercial and construction programmes. This is a strategically focused role suited to someone who can bring structure, clarity and momentum to policy, guidance and continuous improvement activity within a large-scale delivery environment.

Working across senior stakeholders, suppliers and internal teams, you'll play a key role in shaping forums, coordinating improvement initiatives and translating operational insight into practical policy and guidance that supports consistent delivery.

The Role

  • Lead and coordinate continuous improvement and policy development activity across commercial and delivery functions
  • Manage and prioritise a pipeline of policy, guidance and improvement outputs
  • Design and facilitate forums, working groups and communities of practice
  • Bring together stakeholders and suppliers to solve delivery and operational challenges collaboratively
  • Translate complex issues into practical, user-focused guidance and standards
  • Support governance, assurance and consistency across programmes and suppliers
  • Work closely with relationship managers and policy owners to drive improvement initiatives forward

Requirements

  • Experience leading or supporting continuous improvement, business improvement or policy initiatives within complex organisations
  • Strong understanding of government or public sector environments, including governance and assurance processes
  • Experience within construction, infrastructure, commercial or project delivery settings
  • Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholder inputs into clear policy or guidance outputs
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Organised, strategic and highly proactive in approach
  • Comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-moving environment
  • NEC and commercial policy experience highly desirable
