An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Analyst to join a high-profile government cyber security programme supporting critical national digital services and internal infrastructure.

This role sits within a fast-paced digital environment where you'll work across agile delivery teams to help shape secure, user-focused services that protect key government platforms and systems.

You will collaborate with technical teams, delivery leads and senior stakeholders to gather requirements, map business processes and drive delivery across multiple concurrent projects.

The Role

  • Work within agile delivery teams supporting cyber security and digital transformation initiatives
  • Engage with stakeholders to elicit, analyse and document business requirements
  • Translate user needs into user stories and functional requirements
  • Support backlog management and prioritisation across multiple workstreams
  • Map and model complex business processes and workflows
  • Work collaboratively with technical and delivery teams to support effective project outcomes
  • Use tools (e.g. JIRA and Trello) to track requirements, delivery progress and defects

Requirements

  • Strong Business Analysis experience within agile/GDS delivery environments
  • Experience working on cyber security or information security-related programmes
  • Skilled in requirements gathering, process mapping and user story creation
  • Experience using backlog and workflow management tools including JIRA and/or Trello
  • Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Comfortable operating within fast-paced, delivery-focused teams

Must have

  • Strong Public Sector / Government industry experience
  • Agile and GDS delivery environments
  • Cyber security projects or programmes
  • JIRA and/or Trello
  • User story development and traditional requirements documentation
  • Complex stakeholder engagement and process modelling
