I am recruiting for an ambitious Logistics and Supply Chain Manager to optimising the End-to-End activities, increasing incomes in relation to backhaul, consolidation and centralisation for one of my award-winning clients
This is a newly created role due to growth and offers hybrid working
You will lead the team of 3 who are responsible for the day-to-day activities along with identifying opportunities, liaising with other stakeholders and suppliers and negotiating shared benefit. .
Key Responsibilities
- To increase income activity YOY by engaging with suppliers while ensuring new and existing agreements are profitable
- Review route to market for suppliers and remove cost by implementing backhaul, primary or centralised solutions.
- Period accounting for income charges, ensuring all suppliers are charged correctly and on time
- To support and lead Group projects internally and externally providing business benefit
- Produce, summarise and recommend actions in relation to key logistical reports for presentation / evaluation to the Head of Supply Chain
- To work alongside colleagues in procurement and trading to align goals and targets

- Excellent communication skills and the capacity to build good working relationships with colleagues, customers and suppliers
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Experience and proven track record in supplier negotiations and collaboration
- Experience delivering cost and service improvements in complex operational environments
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
