Interim Procurement Specialist - Major CAPEX Projects
Location: South-East England (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)
Rate: Up to £560 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35)

An Interim Procurement Specialist to drive end-to-end Procurement Delivery for one of the most significant energy redevelopment projects in the Middle East. This leading Energy organisation is building a world-class procurement capability to support a major oil and gas redevelopment in the Middle East. This is a rare opportunity to play a hands-on role in delivering complex, high-value projects and drive compliant, commercial procurement across engineering, construction and engineered equipment.
You will join a centralised support team, working closely with in-country partners and international stakeholders as a trusted Procurement Business Partner to major projects, covering end-to-end sourcing through to post-award management.
Responsibilities- Developing and executing category strategies
- Leading RFPs, bid evaluations, negotiations and award recommendations
- Managing supplier performance, contract changes, audits and cost recovery activities
- 5+ years' procurement experience within Oil & Gas, major CAPEX projects
- Strong background in Projects Procurement (engineering, construction, equipment)
- Experience negotiating large, complex contracts
- Confident stakeholder manager across cultures and disciplines
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-pressure, global environments
