A complex, global Science-led organisation, are seeking a confident and commercially-aware HR Generalist, to join their dynamic UK HR team. This is a hands-on role where you'll be the "go-to" expert for line managers, tackling everything from employee relations to driving key people initiatives.
The role:
- Act as first-line HR support for managers across multiple UK sites and provide expert guidance on employee relations matters (disciplinary, performance, absence, etc.).
- Lead annual cycles such as performance management and compensation.
- Manage HR activities within a modern HRIS (e.g. Workday), ensuring data accuracy.
- Analyse HR data to identify trends and inform decisions.
- Build the tools and reports that support meaningful improvement.
- Shape and drive the implementation of HR policy and best practice.
- Support delivery of strategic HR initiatives and transformation programmes.
- Contribute to training and development activities across the business.
- Drive continuous improvement, by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proven HR generalist experience across a broad remit.
- Strong employee relations expertise and solid knowledge of UK employment law.
- Experience working with HR systems (Workday desirable).
- A data-driven mindset, and confident analysing and interpreting HR metrics.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
