Rate: £400 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35)

Location: Exeter (Hybrid - initially 3 days onsite)

Duration: 12 months

Overview

An Interim, hands‑on Project Manager to lead the delivery of a medium‑complexity property project within a high‑profile public‑sector environment. This is a delivery‑focused role for someone who can confidently manage stakeholders, navigate regulatory frameworks, and drive outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate multiple project workstreams from initiation through to delivery
  • Apply CDM regulations in a practical, real‑world setting
  • Manage stakeholders at all levels, building strong engagement and alignment
  • Identify risks/issues early and drive effective solutions
  • Ensure projects deliver tangible business value and meet customer needs
  • Motivate and guide teams without direct line management responsibility

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Strong, practical understanding of CDM regulations
  • Proven experience delivering property/construction‑related projects
  • Excellent stakeholder management and engagement skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and complex project demands
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Track record of delivering results
  • PRINCE2 Practitioner, APM PMQ, or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrable delivery of medium‑complexity projects using structured methodologies
