An interim Project Support Officer, to join a high-impact, multi-year transformation programme reshaping how critical services are designed, delivered, and experienced. You’ll bring structure, insight, and coordination across planning, governance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Maintain robust plans and ensure delivery stays on track across programme and project activities.
  • Own programme reporting cycles, produce performance insights, and track progress against milestones.
  • Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, supporting boards and decision-making processes.
  • Prepare high-quality artefacts, support delivery teams, and maintain core programme documentation.
  • Build strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support communication and engagement.
  • Monitor budgets, forecasts, and expenditure to support effective financial control.
  • Lead coordination of risks, issues, and change control, ensuring clear tracking and escalation.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a structured programme or project environment (e.g. PRINCE2, APM or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of governance, controls, and assurance frameworks.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organisation, coordination, and administrative capability.
  • Confident stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Experience managing risks, issues, and dependencies through to resolution.
