An Interim Procurement Advisor to own Counterparty Due Diligence (CDD) processes, for one of the most significant energy redevelopment projects in the Middle East. This leading Energy organisation is building a world-class procurement capability to support a major oil and gas redevelopment in the Middle East. This is a rare opportunity to oversee CDD and act as the SME for Sourcing, Contracting and Negotiations. You'll join a centralised support team, working closely with in-country partners and international stakeholders as a trusted advisor on bid and contract compliance. This is a high-visibility role for a procurement professional who thrives on governance, risk management and commercial integrity in complex, high-value project environments.
Responsibilities:
- Own and oversee Counterparty Due Diligence (CDD) processes, ensuring robust screening of suppliers, subcontractors and JV partners
- Ensure procurement activities comply with contractual obligations, local regulations and internal governance standards
- Maintain accurate due diligence and compliance records across procurement systems
- Develop and maintain procurement templates, guidance and best-practice tools
- Manage procurement risk processes, risk registers and mitigation controls
- Build team capability through training, coaching and knowledge-sharing
- Monitor compliance metrics and proactively identify and resolve risks
