Senior Procurement Category Lead - Marketing & Media
I'm working with a fast-growing global private-sector organisation looking for an experienced Senior Category Manager to lead procurement across Marketing, Media, Advertising and Creative.
This is a senior, commercially focused role with responsibility for shaping global category strategy, driving value and leading strategic sourcing across a complex international supplier landscape.
You'll be responsible for:

Developing and delivering global category strategy across Marketing, Media and Ad Tech

Leading strategic sourcing, RFPs and complex commercial negotiations

Managing agency, media, Ad Tech and creative supplier relationships
-
Partnering with senior Marketing, Finance and Commercial stakeholders
-
Driving savings, value creation, innovation and supplier performance
-
Using market intelligence, data and benchmarking to shape category plans
-
Supporting governance, risk, reporting and procurement process improvement
We're looking for:

5+ years' procurement experience, ideally with strong Marketing / Media category exposure

Deep understanding of media buying, agency models and the wider marketing ecosystem

Strong commercial, negotiation and stakeholder management skills

Excellent analytical and Excel skills; BI experience is advantageous

Experience working across multiple geographies and within a global procurement environment

Someone who is comfortable operating at pace, influencing senior stakeholders and managing multiple priorities
