An opportunity has arisen for a driven and capable Procurement Category Manager to lead procurement activity across the Scientific & Laboratory category. You'll be responsible for developing and managing supplier relationships and sourcing strategies that deliver best value, support operational excellence, and maintain full regulatory compliance.
Reporting to the Head of Procurement, this role requires a commercially minded professional who can apply public procurement principles and category management techniques in a dynamic, stakeholder-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead procurement and contract management for Scientific & Laboratory goods and services
- Develop category strategies aligned with organisational objectives and sector best practice
- Deliver compliant tender processes that achieve value for money and commercial efficiency
