I\’m currently working with a rapidly growing FMCG business who are a true market leader in their sector. They are seeking a junior buyer / assistant buyer / graduate buyer to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to launch their career in buying, or for someone with around 12 -24 month’s of relevant experience who is eager to further develop their skills in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Buying Director and wider buying team
- Communicate with global suppliers via email
- Prepare, request, and produce accurate quotes
- Build strong working relationships with retail partners
- Ensure goods are delivered on time and to the correct locations
- Create and manage purchase orders for multiple customers
About You
- Degree in a relevant business‑related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Able to thrive in a busy, fast‑moving environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Confident IT user with solid Excel skills
