I am currently recruiting a Senior Category Buyer for a well-known fast paced UK retailer. You will be responsible for building innovative, trend-led product ranges, managing supplier relationships to maximise margin, and identifying new growth opportunities.
Full P&L accountability for the category, driving sales, margin and cash performance. Develop and execute a clear, data-led category strategy aligned to commercial goals. Optimise range, pricing and promotions using trading insight and customer data. Manage the full product lifecycle in a promotional retail environment. Source and negotiate with suppliers to improve margin, terms and exclusive opportunities. Collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandising, Commercial, Retail and Marketing to maximise execution and growth.
