We're looking for a Commercial Procurement Transformation Lead to drive a major procurement improvement programme for a large, complex organisation.

You will focus on transforming Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, purchasing operations and lower-value procurement activity, helping shape how the organisation buys, over the next 12 months.

This is a brand-new role created to accelerate change, so you'll need to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves while leading transformation from the front.

The Role

  • Lead end-to-end procurement transformation across the Procure-to-Pay lifecycle.
  • Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Plan and deliver change programmes from concept through implementation.
  • Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
  • Build clear project governance, manage delivery plans and coordinate change activities.
  • Work closely with operational procurement teams to embed lasting improvements.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in

Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and operational procurement.

  • A proven track record of leading continuous improvement and business change initiatives.
  • Experience delivering transformation projects with excellent project and change management skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to influence senior leaders.
  • A hands-on approach; you'll be equally comfortable setting strategy and delivering the detail.
  • Advantageous would be an Public Sector industry experience
