Are you an experienced procurement professional looking to influence some of the UK's most significant infrastructure programmes? We're recruiting on behalf of a leading international construction and property consultancy renowned for delivering commercial, procurement and project management expertise across complex infrastructure projects. This is an opportunity to work with major public and private sector clients, helping shape procurement strategies that deliver long-term value on nationally important programmes.
Working within a collaborative consultancy environment, you'll advise clients throughout the procurement lifecycle, from early market engagement and commercial strategy through to contract award, while developing trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to complex end-to-end procurement exercises across major infrastructure and construction projects.
- Manage competitive tender processes from pre-procurement planning through to contract award.
- Draft procurement documentation and evaluate supplier submissions.
- Provide strategic advice on NEC, FIDIC and other standard form contracts.
- Manage multiple client projects simultaneously, ensuring quality, programme and budget objectives are achieved.
- Contribute to business development activities, client relationship management and winning new work.
- Degree qualified in Construction, Quantity Surveying, Procurement or a related discipline.
- MCIPS, MRICS or equivalent professional qualification.
- Proven experience delivering complex public sector procurement projects within infrastructure or construction.
- Strong understanding of UK Public Procurement regulations and governance.
- Working knowledge of NEC and FIDIC contracts.
- Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing consultancy skills.
- Strong commercial awareness, analytical capability and problem-solving ability.
- Consultancy experience would be highly advantageous.
