I am recruiting a Procurement and Contracts business partner to join a business who works very closely with the public sector but in a very commercial way. Working with many different government departments, the police and specialist divisions. This pivotal role sits within the Commercial Function and will lead and support a portfolio of procurements, maintain the Commercial Framework, and provide expert guidance on contract management. You will be working on a lot of low value procurement, so really need to enjoy this side, as well as end to end contract management.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain trusted, collaborative relationships across the business to ensure seamless service delivery while adhering to procurement policy, legislation, and best practices.
- Drive value for money and quality in procurement and commercial engagements, providing proactive commercial support to stakeholders.
- Support below-threshold procurement activity.
- Conduct supplier assurance and due diligence, ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting supplier development.
- Maintain consistency in procurement and contract management practices, including eSourcing, portal administration, and the Contracts Register.
