An Interim Procurement Advisor to provide critical support to Cost Recovery, Audit and Document Management for one of the most significant energy redevelopment projects in the Middle East. This leading Energy organisation is building a world-class procurement capability to support a major oil and gas redevelopment in the Middle East. This is a rare opportunity to strengthen their Contracting and Commercial Capability, as SME for Cost Recovery.
You will join a centralised support team, working closely with in-country partners and international stakeholders, ensuring documentation is complete, compliant and audit-ready. This is a critical governance role at the heart of complex, large-scale projects.
Responsibilities:- Lead procurement responses to partner and cost recovery audits
- Own and optimise Document Management Systems (DMS) to ensure secure, controlled and compliant records
- Define and maintain document control, retention and cost recovery processes
- Build dashboards and reporting to track audit readiness and documentation status
- Develop and maintain SharePoint sites and automated workflows to support compliance
- Coach procurement teams on document management, audit and cost recovery best practice
- Act as a visible champion for compliance culture and governance excellence
- 5+ years' experience in Oil & Gas procurement, ideally across Compliance, Audit, DMS or Cost Recovery
- Strong understanding of procurement governance, PSCM contracting and project execution
- Proven expertise in document management systems and cost recovery principles
- Advanced SharePoint capability; experience with PowerApps or workflow automation highly desirable
- Comfortable operating independently in complex, multi-cultural environments
- Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement platforms
