Role
Key to your success in this role will be the ability to operate at a highly skilled level to coach the business through the sourcing process enabling them to be market ready. Building multi-year sourcing and category strategies using market data and industry trends, ensuring the true end-to-end cost picture, risks and innovation are fully articulated and understood. Developing and leading strategic supplier relationships with key stakeholder relationships. Ultimately, you will be tasked with driving commercial value and cost management across a broad range of business-critical Indirect Procurement projects.
You will need to:
- Have strong influencing skills, with the gravitas and adaptability to negotiate credibly with suppliers and engage with the executive management team
- Be results driven with a track record of achievement while adaptable in the face of adversity and fast-paced change transformation
- Ability to identify benefit through contract lifecycle management
Experience:
- Indirects Procurement experience - evidence of executing complex and strategic sourcing activity
- Full end-to-end sourcing experience
- Good understanding of the Financial Services regulatory framework
- Skills to influence and drive effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Gravitas, the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
