The Opportunity
We are recruiting for an experienced Commercial Project Manager to support the successful delivery of major commercial programmes within a complex and fast-moving environment. You will play a critical role in ensuring programmes remain on track, risks are effectively managed and governance standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and maintenance of detailed commercial project plans and schedules.
- Coordinate programme activities across multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups.
- Manage project interdependencies, resource allocation and delivery milestones.
- Identify, assess and mitigate project and programme risks.
- Ensure projects remain audit-ready with appropriate governance and documentation in place.
- Produce and maintain project reporting, dashboards and delivery updates.
- Support business case development, approvals and assurance processes.
- Facilitate gateway reviews and programme governance activities.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support integrated resource planning across commercial programmes.
- Drive continuous improvement in programme delivery methodologies and ways of working.
About You
We are looking for a proactive and highly organised project professional with experience delivering complex programmes in regulated or large-scale environments. You will ideally possess:
- Proven experience managing complex projects or programmes.
- Strong project planning and scheduling expertise.
- Experience managing risks, issues and dependencies.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Strong governance, reporting and assurance experience.
- The ability to influence and drive outcomes across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Experience working in fast-paced and evolving environments.
- A collaborative and solutions-focused mindset.
- Experience supporting major infrastructure, engineering or capital projects.
- Experience working within highly regulated environments.
- Exposure to government approvals, assurance frameworks or gateway reviews.
- Experience managing high-value procurement or commercial projects.
- Knowledge of the nuclear sector or wider energy industry.
Qualifications
Candidates should hold one or more of the following:
- Degree qualification or equivalent experience
- MSP Practitioner or Advanced Practitioner
- APM Registered Project Professional (RPP)
