Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of strategic procurement services across major programmes and projects.
- Manage elements of end-to-end procurement including tender development, evaluation, negotiation and award.
- Contribute to the development of procurement strategies and category plans.
- Engage confidently with client and supplier stakeholders.
- Produce high-quality documentation, analysis and reporting.
- Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to achieve successful outcomes.
- Support business development activity including proposals and service development.
- Contribute to team delivery targets and continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience
- Delivering or supporting procurement activity on large or complex programmes in infrastructure, defence, energy, public sector/central government or similar sectors.
- NEC, JCT or public sector experience is in high demand.
- Strong understanding of tendering, evaluation and supplier engagement processes.
- Ability to contribute to procurement strategies and commercial principles.
- Good stakeholder engagement skills with confidence working across clients and suppliers.
- Strong analytical capability and attention to detail.
- Effective communicator able to produce clear, high-quality outputs.
- Collaborative team player with a proactive, adaptable approach.
- Interest in professional development, including working towards procurement qualifications.
- Security Clearance (SC) is advantageous, though not required.
