Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of strategic procurement services across major programmes and projects.
  • Manage elements of end-to-end procurement including tender development, evaluation, negotiation and award.
  • Contribute to the development of procurement strategies and category plans.
  • Engage confidently with client and supplier stakeholders.
  • Produce high-quality documentation, analysis and reporting.
  • Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Support business development activity including proposals and service development.
  • Contribute to team delivery targets and continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience

  • Delivering or supporting procurement activity on large or complex programmes in infrastructure, defence, energy, public sector/central government or similar sectors.
  • NEC, JCT or public sector experience is in high demand.
  • Strong understanding of tendering, evaluation and supplier engagement processes.
  • Ability to contribute to procurement strategies and commercial principles.
  • Good stakeholder engagement skills with confidence working across clients and suppliers.
  • Strong analytical capability and attention to detail.
  • Effective communicator able to produce clear, high-quality outputs.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive, adaptable approach.
  • Interest in professional development, including working towards procurement qualifications.
  • Security Clearance (SC) is advantageous, though not required.
