Our client is seeking a Director to join their growing procurement and contract advisory practice, leading complex programmes across infrastructure, defence, energy and the wider built environment. This senior role sits below Partner and offers the opportunity to shape service lines, lead major client portfolios and support the continued expansion of a high-growth consultancy.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Lead high-value client portfolios and provide strategic direction across complex, multi-year programmes.
- Set and oversee procurement and commercial strategies that influence senior leadership decision-making.
- Provide senior leadership across end-to-end procurement delivery, including tendering, evaluation and negotiation.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior clients, acting as a key advisor.
- Lead and develop teams across multiple disciplines to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Drive business development activity, shaping propositions and leading major bids.
- Contribute to the growth and evolution of the procurement and contract advisory service.
- Significant experience leading strategic procurement and commercial activity on major programmes.
- Strong track record delivering complex, end-to-end procurement within infrastructure, defence or similar environments.
- Proven ability to lead and grow high-performing teams.
- Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills at senior levels.
- Excellent commercial acumen, negotiation skills and market insight.
- Experience supporting business development and winning new work.
- Confident operating in a high-growth consultancy with multiple priorities.
- Security Clearance (SC) is advantageous, though not required.
