We're looking for a Java Software Engineer to join a high-performing front-office technology team, building the next generation of sales platforms for global financial markets.
You'll develop modern, scalable applications used directly by revenue-generating teams, working across UI, backend services and data-driven capabilities.
This is an opportunity to solve complex, engineering problems in a fast-paced environment, while gaining deep exposure to Fixed Income & Currencies (FIC) markets.
As the platform evolves, you'll also have opportunities to contribute to AI-enabled features where they add real business value.
The Role
- Design and build scalable, high-performance software using modern engineering practices.
- Develop distributed backend services in
Java.
- Build intuitive, responsive front ends using

- Type Script
- Deliver data-driven features that improve user workflows and client engagement.
- Help evolve a strategic front-office platform through clean architecture and thoughtful engineering.
- Collaborate closely with product, business and engineering teams to turn ideas into production-ready solutions.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering experience delivering complex applications in agile environments.
- Excellent knowledge of
Java Development.
- Experience within
Financial Services environments.
- A solid foundation in object-oriented and/or functional programming.
- Experience with engineering best practices including TDD, continuous integration, automated testing and collaborative development.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, observability and operating production systems.
- An understanding of front-office technology, capital markets or Fixed Income & Currencies (FX, Rates, Credit or Emerging Markets) is advantageous
